As part of our update to the inventory system as a whole, photo hot spots are a new aspect that dealers can take advantage of. Along with our HD photos for the VDP and SRP, these hot spots allow a customer to see detailed information simply by clicking around the image. Appearing as small circles, all the customer has to do is hover over the dot to see the category and then click to view specifics. The information is pulled directly from the VIN to ensure that it is specific to that exact vehicle. Examples include exterior color, fuel capacity and MPG, safety features, exterior lighting, engine type, drivetrain, cargo capacity, passenger capacity, and much more. No need for them to visit an outside source just to see what a car or SUV has to offer!
By breaking up these features and adding a visually engaging element with corresponding photos, customers can get an in-depth look at a vehicle they are interested in from the comfort of their own home. It also eliminates the need for them to dig through lists of data on the VDP or even leave a dealer’s site and go somewhere else to get the information they are looking for.
