With online vehicle browsing gaining popularity, Dealer eProcess is excited to announce a new aspect of its Inventory Search tool. Users will now be able to truly see which models have the features that are most important to them without having to leave the comfort of their own home.

Inventory Search Tool Enhancement Being able to filter through a dealership’s entire inventory is a key aspect of Dealer eProcess sites. Previously, customers had the option to search based on the make, model, year, engine, seating capacity, and several other categories. Now, they’ll also be able to add specific features and packages to the mix. With modern technology driving the marketing aspect of many new vehicles, allowing users to highlight the features they desire is a great advantage. Common examples of feature filters include Bluetooth® connection, a power moonroof, heated seats, or satellite radio.

Oftentimes a manufacturer chooses to group their most popular features into packages, which is where this filter section of the updated inventory search tool comes into play. Particularly useful for luxury brands, this option allows customers to see which trim level or which model comes with a technology package or a climate package, for example. Users can even combine features and packages to get even more specific with their search. While a vast inventory may initially seem overwhelming, these filters and easy-to-customize settings allow customers to quickly find exactly what they are looking for. It also couples well with our price drop alert feature and dealer-based incentive programs.

Additionally, customers can get a clear idea of the price for a vehicle that has the features or packages that they desire. Before, a customer may have initially seen a higher price due to a special add-ons. Now, the viewer knows exactly what the model they are looking at includes and how those it effects the price. Dealers will be able to clearly advertise their inventory online, which is crucial for modern shoppers.
