Dealer eProcess is proud to announce an innovative new vehicle configurator for car dealer websites. Customers can build a new vehicle of their choosing, including options and packages, from the ground up. As the customer selects their options and packages, prices will be added to the Base MSRP on the right hand side of the screen, as seen below. Below the Total MSRP, a customer can click “Request Information”, and a sales lead form with all of their selected options will be emailed to the dealership.
Packages use an exclusion rule, so if a customer chooses one option, they may or may not be able to choose an option based on previous selections. Customers will always be prompted if they wish to remove other options or packages before proceeding:
Highlighted features in the showroom are technology, mechanical, safety, comfort, interior and exterior. Specs, Awards, and NHTSA Crash-Test Ratings are also available to customers for research and comparison. EPA Green Scores show consumers air pollution and greenhouse scores, and customers can hover over each item for more explanation.
Manufacturer Incentives are automatically updated on the Configurator page, so your customers will have the most up-to-date special offers and finance programs in front of them while building their car.
360-exterior and interior views let customers inside the vehicle before stepping foot in a car dealership and taking a test drive. Customers can also view the interior in full-screen mode as well as click on “Hot Spots” to see more vehicle features.
After all options and packages have been selected, the customer can either “Search by Trim” if the dealer has that specific trim, or “Search by Model” if a certain trim is not available. Similar vehicles in the dealer’s inventory will also display at the bottom of the page for customers to choose from.
