Benefits of Combining Website with Digital Marketing
TRANSCRIPT: Maria, you’ve worked with dealers who use your digital marketing services on a different website platform, those who use our website platform but another digital marketing provider, and dealers who utilize us for both. Are there any advantages to one approach or the other? There are, when we can operate both the website and the digital marketing we can provide better reporting. That helps the dealer know what’s going on and it helps us know how to refine things and optimize overall performance for the dealer. Without the website we don’t know the optimal time of day for lead production. We don’t know which vehicles are producing leads and which are not, and that could lead to overspending. Unless there is a clear need to do otherwise, placing both pieces of business together should be the default solution. One reason not to do this is when the dealer is stuck with a mandated website and that provider is not transparent regard digital marketing. Then you have poor performance and no transparency. Having your website and digital marketing under the same roof makes sense, provided you choose a firm that is best in class at both, and that’s a fact.
